Getting started with Haulio’s Customer Portal for haulage bookings

Introduction to Haulio’s Customer Portal for haulage bookings

An all-in-one platform designed to manage all your trucking needs in one place

In this guide, we will cover 4 main components:
  1. Create a Booking
  2. Manage Ongoing Jobs
  3. Completed Bookings

Create a Booking

1. Make a New Booking

On your Dashboard, click on “Make a New Booking” to create a new booking.

Tip! The Dashboard helps you stay on top of your bookings - easily view pending To Do alerts here, or keep track of your containers at each milestone.

2. Select Job Type & Audience

Select the Job Type.

Select Haulio to assign the job to.

3. Input Route & Container Details

Based on your booking requirement, indicate Route details:
– Port Location
– Delivery Location
– Truck In Date & Time
– Truck Out Date & Time
– Depot Location

Next, input your Container Details:
– Container Type & Size
– Container Quantity

4. Fill up other important information

Fill up mandatory information with the red asterisk (*) e.g. Vessel Details, BL number.

Note: If your container is classified as Dangerous Goods and you require DG trucking, do select the type of DG class, and indicate yes for “Orange-Plate Required”.

If your cargo clearance permit requires Customs endorsement, please select “Yes” in order to pre-alert hauliers to go to the Customs red lane for scanning and endorsement.

5. Upload Documents & Add Remarks

Upload relevant documents (e.g. arrival notice, booking confirmation, bill of lading or cargo clearance permits).

Indicate any relevant Remarks to notify hauliers of any requirements (e.g. loading bay to park the container, ETA requirements).

6. Save Draft

You can click on “Save Draft” to save your booking.

To view your saved Drafts, go to “Bookings” > “Drafts”.

7. Submit Booking

Click “Submit” to confirm and submit your booking to the Audience you selected at the start.

Tip! You can minimise data entry by clicking “Duplicate” to create a new job with the same information as the original.

8. Booking Confirmation

Once submitted, your booking is confirmed. You will receive a confirmation email with the job details.

You will be notified of any updates via email. You can also monitor your order via the Booking page.

Manage Ongoing Jobs

1. View Posted Bookings

To view Posted Bookings, go to “Bookings” > “Posted”.

Your posted jobs are sorted into Import, Export, One Way and Others accordingly.

2. Checklist

Use the Checklist to check your To Dos.

3. Chat

Use the Chat to communicate with the Haulio operations team for any updates to the booking. You can also view their contact details here.

4. Edit Job Details

Click “Edit” to edit the Job details.

5. Edit Container Details

Click “Edit” to edit the Container details.

6. Status Updates

Whenever there is a Status Update for your booking, you will be notified via email.

Tip! You can update your booking directly from the Dashboard!

Simply click on the red link for the respective job under “To Do”.

Completed Bookings

1. View Completed Bookings

To view Completed Bookings, go to “Bookings” > “Completed”.

2. View Completed Bookings

You can filter Completed Bookings by Month.

You can also search for your completed bookings in the search bar.

Export your completed bookings in an Excel (.csv) file for the selected month or year.

3. Download Invoices

If you need the invoice, go into the respective booking, under the Pricing tab.

You can download the invoices by clicking on the PDF link.

FAQ

1.How do I use Haulio to book trucking services?

  • Haulio has an all-in-one customer portal for businesses, shippers, forwarders and haulage procurers to digitally book haulage services with our community of digitally empowered hauliers. Click here to see the steps or start embarking your trucking journey with us here!

2. How do I know if my booking has been confirmed?

  • The status of the booking will be shown at the top of the booking’s management page.

3. I have some enquiries about a booking, who do I contact?

  • The contact details of the person in charge of the booking will be indicated in the Chat window. 

  • You may also contact our Support hotline at +65 8508 2327.

4. How do I read the chart on the Dashboard?

  • The chart shows the number of containers with ETA within the selected time period. 

  • You will be able to have an overview on the number of containers that will be arriving or departing the port for that week. 

5. Where can I submit my feedback or suggestions?
