B&S Services Pte Ltd was established in July 2020, where Haulio has been supporting them since their incorporation.

What do you do at B&S Services, and how did you get to know Haulio?

At my previous workplace, I got to know Haulio as we were a transportation partner for them. When I decided to set up my own company, I checked in with Haulio and got the confidence from Alvin Ea, Haulio’s CEO, to go ahead. It is because of Haulio’s support that I was able to set up my company amid the pandemic back in June 2020, and scale it to 5 trucks in just one year.

How has Haulio helped you?

Haulio has supported me since the start, allowing me to start building my company from scratch and grow it to what it is today. From leasing of prime movers to insurance and financing, Haulio has supported me in in setting up. Aside from these value-added services, I am also able to get a regular pool of jobs from Haulio. In fact, when the pandemic hit, the jobs I took from Haulio contributed about 10% of my revenue. It is always reassuring to be able to turn to Haulio’s job pool when I need more trucking jobs.

The team at Haulio is also very supportive – communicating well with us to execute their jobs. When I have too many jobs too handle, I can also trust the team to be able to help me with executing it.

Compared to how haulage is done when I first started (which was very dependent on paper documentation), I am now able to go paperless and operate digitally through Haulio’s digital solutions.

Some people thought I was crazy for starting my company during the pandemic. But with the support of Haulio, I had the guts to do it. In essence, without Haulio, there won’t be B&S Services.
