Incorporated in 2006, Infiniti Marine started out with 3 staff operating in Jurong port, to a combined staff strength of 26 today. Focusing on the oil and gas industry as a tug and barge operator, Infiniti Marine also provides land transportation services with a combined fleet of 18 trucks.

What do you do at Infiniti Marine and how did you get to know Haulio’s HCS?

I am the Director at Infiniti Marine. My day-to-day role includes taking care of the sales and business development, as well as ensure smooth operations of the company.

I first got to know Haulio through an event, where Haulio’s co-founder, Alvin Ea, was speaking at. Haulio seemed like a new platform that uses technology to help hauliers, which I felt was good. I was thus drawn to Haulio through their technology in helping me simplify my haulage operations.

How has the Haulio helped you?

As we have our own jobs to execute, we do not sublet or take jobs available on Haulio. We use the Haulio Connectivity System (HCS) to manage and monitor my fleet and drivers.

In the long run, I want to do things more efficiently, and Haulio’s HCS helps me do that. I like the electronic Proof-of-Delivery (ePOD) feature, which allows my drivers to take photos during job completion for submission. The trip forms feature is also great, as all my drivers’ completed jobs and history is easily accessible via the cloud-based system. This helps me to reduce manual work to verify and tally for my drivers’ salary remuneration.

I also like that HCS is open for integration – as my company does not just focus on haulage transport, it is great that it’s possible for HCS to integrate with my own transport and freight management systems.

Will you continue using Haulio in the foreseeable future?

Yes, we will. We have used other solutions before, but Haulio’s team is closer to the ground and are very responsive to all our feedback. Although there may be hiccups along the way, as compared to some of their competitors, I feel that Haulio’s team is more proficient to resolve any issues due to their dedication and local know-how.
