Vessel Arrival: Usage of “ETB” instead of “ETA”

Vessel Arrival: Usage of “ETB” instead of “ETA”

In our latest update, we will be using “Estimated Time of Berth (ETB)” instead of “Estimated Time of Arrival (ETA)” for all vessel arrivals.

Why This Change?

Vessel ETA is commonly used to denote the date and time at which a ship is expected to arrive at the port, while ETB is used to denote the date and time at which a ship is expected to berth at the port. As such, ETB is a more accurate date/time of arrival for planning purposes.

FAQ

1. Why is the Vessel ETB date/time not showing up automatically for my bookings?

  • Automated Vessel ETB date/time will be shown for bookings with Vessel and Voyage information that matches Portnet’s records. If the Vessel and/or voyage is not found on Portnet, then Vessel ETB will not be automated.

2. What if I do not want to use the Vessel ETB information from Portnet?

  • You may enter your own Vessel ETB date time. The system will not overwrite the manually entered data.

3. It’s been some time since I last logged in and I’ve forgotten my password. How can I retrieve it again?

  • No worries! Go into and click on “Forgot password”. You will receive an email to reset your password.
