Procurement Manager (Thailand)

Responsibilities;

• Control profits of all bookings/shipments to meet the target.
• Lead and manage purchasing operations, policies, and procedures.
• Maintain procurement records and keep them current according to state standards, review contracts and maintain an efficient central file system for contracts and renewals to assure contract compliance.
• Develop risk management procedures to mitigate losses in the event of product shortages. Monitor and update relevant departments regarding price fluctuations of goods and vendor pricing.
• Evaluate spending operations while seeking ways to improve and enhance the quality of products purchased, the timeliness of deliveries, and inventory management optimization.
• Measure and report key purchasing and inventory metrics.
• Provide periodic reporting for management on purchasing, controls, and processes.
• Adhoc tasks and report as requested.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in finance or related field.
• Knowledge of contract law, principles of negotiations, procurement techniques, research and market analysis techniques, contract development and administration.
• Proven working experience in a Procurement field for at least 3 years (Container & Trucking).
• Financial management skills and understanding of pricing strategies.
• Good management skills, market researching tactics, negotiation skills, communication skills, and marketing capabilities.
• Experience in a management/leadership capacity/ negotiation with truckers.
• High attention to accuracy and details.
• Specials: The following experience from the below B2B, Logistics, and Trucking industries will be considered special.
• Preferably have extensive trucker contacts.
• Good communication skills in English.
